We met on the 2nd Transnational Project Meeting (10th – 11th July) to overview the meeting objectives, review project activities, present collected content and discuss on training material development.

Project Results: Content Collecting and Training Material Development

The ThinkSafe project has successfully completed the Material Development, focusing on the development of essential resources to empower students with disabilities in digital literacy and online safety. Key achievements include:

Comprehensive Content Collection: A robust library of 20–25 sources were assembled, covering digital safety, critical thinking, and media literacy. This content was gathered from surveys, academic papers, and expert consultations, ensuring relevance and reliability for the target audience.

Digital Stories Practice: Three modular resources were developed, guiding students through storytelling techniques, digital tools, and ethical considerations. These modules help students express their experiences and learn to identify misinformation, cyberbullying, and online risks.

Training Material for Educators: A seven-module curriculum was created, including lesson plans, practical exercises, quizzes, and assignments. The materials are designed for adaptability and inclusiveness, supporting teachers and caregivers in fostering digital skills and critical thinking among students with disabilities.

Multilingual Access: All materials have been translated into Polish, Greek, and Italian, ensuring accessibility across partner countries and maximizing impact.

Project Results: Exchange & e-Learn Platform Development

Platforms Development has delivered the digital infrastructure needed for the project’s educational and collaborative activities:

Online Exchange Platform: Led by CYBERNO, this platform enables safe, positive interactions and peer support among students and educators. It facilitates sharing of experiences, resources, and best practices in digital literacy and online safety.

e-Learn Platform: An accessible, user-friendly online learning environment was developed, integrating the training materials and digital stories. The platform supports interactive learning and is designed with accessibility features for students with disabilities.

User Manual: A detailed, multilingual user guide ensures all participants can effectively navigate and utilize the platforms.

Widespread Engagement: Over 115 users (students and educators) have registered and begun using the platforms, with ongoing feedback mechanisms in place to ensure continual improvement and high satisfaction rates.

Upcoming Activities: Training Activity (LTTA)

With the foundational resources and platforms now in place, ThinkSafe is preparing to launch the Learning, Teaching, and Training Activities (LTTA):

Pilot Training Sessions: These will be held in each partner country, engaging educators, caregivers, and students with disabilities. The sessions will pilot the training materials and digital stories, gathering feedback for refinement.

Co-Design Workshops: Educators and students will participate in collaborative workshops to further adapt and enhance the training content, ensuring it meets local needs and is accessible to all.

Capacity Building: The LTTA will focus on equipping participants with practical skills in digital safety, critical thinking, and responsible online behavior, leveraging the newly developed platforms.

International Exchange: The training activities will foster cross-country collaboration, allowing participants to share experiences and strategies for digital inclusion and safety.

Stay connected for updates on the pilot training and results from the upcoming LTTA sessions. The ThinkSafe partnership remains committed to building a safer, more inclusive digital world for students with disabilities!
